DO:

  1. Use your flirting techniques- if you're interested let them know! Eye contact.
  2. Dress well (and this applies to men too!) Speed Dating tends to attract the fashionable and well groomed.
  3. Follow basic safety guidelines when meeting matches. Meet in a public place, tell a friend where you are going, don't give out your home address to easily.
  4. Use the break and "after dating" times to chat and meet. If you messed your lines during your scheduled date, don't be scared to make an approach later for a second chance.
  5. Relax. Research has proven that over anxiety in potential partners is one of the 3rd biggest turns off for women and the 5th for men.
  6. Do remember to tick your scorecard as there would be nothing worse than ticking the wrong persons.

DO NOT:
  1. Lie! It's not a good idea to start something off on.
  2. Use excessive swearing. This is often a big turn off for both sexes.
  3. Be tempted to give your personal contact details on the evening. Email contact is safer, and more fun, to start with.
  4. 4. Get blind drunk. It's very unattractive.

SUGGESION:

Saying 'no' to the offer of a date is much harder for some singles than saying 'yes.' However, remember it is more cruel to keep someone hoping than it is to say 'no' from the beginning.
